Accounting Research Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Research Manager responsible for technical accounting research and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support delivery of guidance and advisory services related to GAAP, IFRS, and statutory accounting principles
• Prepare and conclude on accounting position papers to support policy development and specific transaction conclusions
• Monitor the development of accounting standards from various standard setters and assess their potential impacts

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred
• Experience in technical accounting research and policy development
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and statutory accounting principles
• Ability to synthesize complex accounting issues and make timely decisions
