Associate Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Actuary to analyze complex structures for various lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide actuarial pricing review for new business opportunities
• Analyze existing business to guide strategy and monitor key metrics for profitability
• Review and refine pricing models and tools while liaising with stakeholders for clear communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or a financial related field
• Five to ten years of actuarial experience, including pricing of multiple lines of business
• ACAS or FCAS designation
• Understanding of insurance, underwriting, reinsurance, and financials
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and programming languages/software such as SQL, SAS, or R preferred
