Automation Technical Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Automation Technical Lead in the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical Industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and serve as the primary automation representative in cross-functional meetings
• Collaborate with project managers to define automation budgets and resource needs while ensuring compliance with technical standards
• Lead the development of software testing strategies and oversee the Factory Acceptance Testing and commissioning processes

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on automation experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
• Proven expertise in leading Process Automation projects using the DeltaV platform
• Deep familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Strong understanding of ISA-88 batch control standards and GAMP guidelines
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technical decision-making
