California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant responsible for managing accounting for capitalized software and fixed assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for capitalized software development project assets, including tracking entries from project inception to service
• Prepare monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations for CIP and Fixed Asset accounts
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary schedules and participating in special projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of professional accounting experience in a comparable role
• Experience with capitalized software development and fixed asset accounting preferred
• Familiarity with Oracle Financials ERP systems preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP formulas
