Care Manager, Patient Support

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr/Care Manager, Patient Support Services - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform outbound calls to obtain eligibility information and document accurately
• Assist customers with pharmacy-related services through inbound calls
• Contact insurance companies for benefit investigation and support prior authorizations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• Minimum one year of experience in medical billing, reimbursement, or insurance verification
• Previous data entry experience with a typing speed of 30wpm or more
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite programs and soft phone systems
• Must have a private workspace that adheres to HIPAA compliance
