Cloud Governance Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Governance Director responsible for establishing a Cloud FinOps practice to optimize cloud costs and ensure financial accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a FinOps strategy and maintain a cloud financial management framework
• Collaborate with teams to manage cloud costs, identify savings opportunities, and drive expense transparency
• Own and maintain the cloud governance platform, develop reporting capabilities, and educate teams on cloud cost management

Required Qualifications

• 7 or more years of applicable experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, primarily Azure and AWS
• Proficiency in data analysis and tools like SQL; experience with BI platforms
• At least 5 years of experience in finance, operations, or IT, with a focus on cloud financial management
