Collection Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collection Representative responsible for managing accounts receivable and communicating with patients and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage outstanding balances and accounts receivable
• Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing issues and collect payments
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with understanding their medical bills

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Healthcare Management preferred
• 1-2 years of collections experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical billing processes and insurance claim submission
• Familiarity with insurance plans and government programs
• Experience maintaining accurate records of collections activities
