Commercial Counsel - State Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to lead legal initiatives and support strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the review, negotiation, and management of complex agreements with clients, vendors, and partners
• Provide legal counsel in support of strategic initiatives and emerging business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to improve operational efficiency and educate internal stakeholders on legal risks and best practices

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school and active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 3+ years of experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm
• 2+ years in-house experience at a high-growth startup or public tech company
• Experience supporting a large sales team and managing customer and vendor agreements
• Strong interest in legal operations and leveraging AI to scale legal support
