Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Legal Counsel to assist its veterinary health organization on a full-time, contract basis for an initial 4-month term.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide contracting support for commercial procurement contracts across North America business units
• Review marketing content and provide legal guidance to the marketing team on campaigns and promotions
• Assist with general corporate counsel tasks, including corporate structure changes, filings, and regulatory advice

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in corporate counsel functions, particularly in commercial and marketing
• Experience with corporate structures and regulatory functions in veterinary health or related fields
• Ability to work remotely, with a preference for candidates in the Portland/Vancouver area
• Familiarity with IP and data privacy issues related to commercial contracts
• Experience in providing legal support to internal procurement teams
