CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Accounting responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Document and implement accounting policies in line with GAAP and SEC Reg S-X requirements
• Support the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors for annual financial statement audits

Required Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field
• 6+ years of work experience in accounting
• CPA (or equivalent license)
• Experience working in an accounting function within a large enterprise general ledger
• Previous finance experience in a regulated industry, preferably in financial services
