CPA Licensed Accounting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting to lead its accounting function during a growth phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the transition of core accounting operations in-house and build a high-performing team
• Manage financial systems and ensure compliance with GAAP standards, including leading external audits
• Drive process improvements and automation within accounting operations

Required Qualifications

• CPA strongly preferred with extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting standards
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role in a high-growth tech or SaaS company
• Public accounting background with Big 4 audit experience preferred
• Proven experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and financial statement audits
• Experience with ERP platforms and a strong systems orientation
