Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound and outbound calls while ensuring timely and accurate documentation of information
- Process orders, verify insurance eligibility, and obtain necessary authorizations for patient equipment
- Educate patients on financial responsibilities and facilitate resolution of customer complaints
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
- Two years of work-related experience required for senior level, including one year of exact job experience
- Experience with Medicare certified tasks is preferred
- Proficient in using online EMR systems and Microsoft Office
