Marketer has nailed product–market fit with its AI-powered marketing platform for Shopify e-commerce stores.
After successfully scaling across the US and EU, the team is growing fast and looking for a top-tier Customer Success Manager to strengthen client relationships and support further growth.
About the company:
Marketer delivers an AI-powered, all-in-one marketing suite for e-commerce businesses—simplifying digital marketing in ways that were previously impossible. The SaaS platform is deeply integrated with Shopify, the world’s largest e-commerce ecosystem, making adoption seamless.
The result? Shopify stores can now launch, manage, and optimize campaigns that once required expensive agencies—all in a few clicks. This leads to significantly improved ROAS and faster execution.
Another key benefit: clients gain a real-time, detailed overview of their marketing and sales performance. This stands in stark contrast to the Excel handovers they’re used to receiving from traditional agencies.
Marketer was founded in 2022 by the creators of Marketer Technologies, one of Europe’s largest proptech companies. After two years of development, the commercial rollout began in 2024—and the growth since has been explosive. The company now boasts a solid ARR, increasing by several hundred thousand each month.
The cap table includes Marketer Technologies, the world’s greatest chess player Magnus Carlsen, Johan Brand (Kahoot), and other prominent figures from tech and finance.
Why this role matters:
Marketer is scaling rapidly—and maintaining an exceptional customer experience is critical. As Customer Success Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that new clients succeed from day one and stay for the long run.
You’ll be responsible for onboarding new clients, helping them succeed with ad campaigns, and feeding client insights back into the commercial and product strategy. Sales, product, and customer success are tightly aligned—so your role will be central to how we operate and grow.
You’ll be based in our San Francisco office, joining a highly skilled team of European product and commercial experts.
You will:
• Forge long-term relationships with clients by providing a seamless and professional onboarding experience.
• Maintain regular, productive communication with your portfolio of Shopify store owners across various industries.
• Oversee paid ad campaign activities, proactively addressing and swiftly resolving any issues.
• Work closely with the product teams to ensure alignment with market needs.
• Work closely with the sales team and help them gain a deeper understanding of how the clients engage with the product.
• Identify and analyze opportunities within both product and market landscapes.
Who we’re looking for:
• A natural relationship builder with strong communicative skills.
• Solid hands-on experience with setting up, managing, and optimizing Google or Meta ad campaigns.
• A strategic thinker who combines performance marketing insight with deep technical know-how across paid media platforms.
• Familiarity with ad creatives and design.
• Experience/understanding of the eCommerce space is a strong advantage.
What we offer:
• $65-$90,000 per year salary range + potential stock options
• Macbook, phone, whatever gear you need
• A rare opportunity to take a central role in a company poised for international dominance.
• Direct impact on the client’s growth trajectory, with a transparent product that shows immediate value.
• A competitive compensation package with salary and stock options, reflecting the value we place on top talent.
• A collaborative and dynamic environment, where professional development is encouraged, your ideas matter, are listened too, and can be implemented swiftly.
• Comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs designed to support long-term employee well-being.
Be part of something bigger: We are offering more than just a job—we’re offering a chance to take ownership, contribute to a high-growth journey, and be part of a dynamic, supportive team that is passionate about redefining e-commerce marketing. Our success in Europe is just the beginning, and we want you to help lead the charge in the US.
Next steps: Selected candidates will begin the process with an interview with one of our recruitment partners, followed by meetings with the management team, including the CEO. We aim to fill this role by the end of June.
