DevOps Engineer with Security Certification

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DevOps Engineer/Security Specialist to support the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for secure delivery of IT applications
• Engineer cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, optimizing for performance and security compliance
• Conduct security assessments and integrate security practices into Agile sprints and release cycles

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• One active certification from AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or ISC2 CISSP required
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity
• Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Familiarity with VA security standards and the VIP Lean-Agile framework is highly desirable
