Job Summary

A company is looking for an Authorization Specialist II who will support the prior authorization request process for healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Aids the utilization management team by tracking and documenting authorizations and referrals
• Researches and documents necessary medical information for authorization review
• Verifies member insurance coverage and updates authorization requests in the system

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required
• 1 - 2 years of related experience is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance is preferred
• Candidate must reside in the State of Florida
