Follow Up Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Follow Up Representative II.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and examine denial accounts using established methods to resolve issues
• Work closely with third party payers to resolve unpaid claims and submit technical appeals
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Experience in follow up, billing, or related revenue cycle experience required
• Knowledge of charge master, ICD-9 coding, CPT coding, and EDI billing
• Ability to interpret expected reimbursement information from EOBs
• Familiarity with State and Federal Laws pertaining to plan benefits
