Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hospital Collections Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform systematic reviews of unpaid accounts and identify responsible parties for unpaid balances
• Contact payer sources to resolve payment issues and ensure accurate documentation of all communications
• Monitor payments for accuracy, follow up on outstanding amounts, and recommend accounts for write-off as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2+ years of hospital follow-up/collection experience
• 2+ years of EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing experience
• Experience working with insurance payors and following up on outstanding claims
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
