Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Pharmacy Technician (LTC).

Key Responsibilities

• Process and follow-up on billing of resident prescriptions, including insurance claims and prior authorizations
• Perform data entry into relevant systems and generate monthly statements while reconciling third-party claims
• Communicate effectively with community staff, residents, and POAs to ensure accurate billing and customer service

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year pharmacy billing experience
• At least 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Licensed and in good standing as an Illinois Pharmacy Technician
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
