Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist to obtain and verify insurance information and manage prior authorization processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and verify insurance eligibility and document information in the system
  • Perform prior authorizations and collaborate with physician offices and insurance companies
  • Handle inbound calls and resolve claim rejections related to eligibility and coverage
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma with 1+ years of medical billing or insurance verification experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for experience
  • Experience with payors and prior authorization preferred
  • Experience with Medicare Part D is highly preferred
