A company is looking for an Intake Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate financial clearance activities, including patient demographic verification and insurance authorization
  • Maintain compliance with insurance requirements and assist in obtaining necessary referrals and authorizations
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve financial clearance issues and ensure timely access to care


Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • 1-3 years of patient registration and/or insurance experience, with at least one year in a customer service role
  • General knowledge of healthcare terminology and insurance processes
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Suite applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle challenging situations effectively
