Intake Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist who is responsible for managing patient referrals and ensuring compliance with documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter referrals accurately and within established timeframes while meeting productivity and quality standards
• Communicate with referral sources and patients to ensure proper documentation and financial responsibilities are addressed
• Collaborate with local branch leadership and sales teams to facilitate the referral process and ensure appropriate inventory/services are provided

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• One year of experience in healthcare administration, financial services, or related fields
• Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environment is preferred
• Proficiency in navigating multiple online EMR systems
• Familiarity with payer guidelines and clinical documentation
