A company is looking for a Clinical Administrative Coordinator to work in a fast-paced environment handling customer service or provider calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides data entry, filing, tracking time frames, and mailing letters to patients and providers
- Reviews denials and determines the nature of the decisions regarding claims
- Receives and logs appeal requests from health plans, researching and providing requested information
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- 2+ years of telephonic customer service experience
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficient software computer skills
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding is preferred
