Inventory Planning Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Inventory Planning Consultant to lead inventory planning initiatives on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Project-manage the selection and onboarding of a new AI-driven inventory planning tool
• Advise on organizational structure and responsibilities within the inventory planning team
• Support the Chief Merchandising Officer in the design of the Buying and Planning functions

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience in a leadership role in inventory planning at a medium to large-scale organization
• Expertise in system implementation, particularly with inventory planning tools
• Proven experience in an omnichannel apparel and/or accessories retail environment
• Comfortable with evaluating and working with AI-driven solutions
• Demonstrated project management experience from start to finish
