Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lawyers Professional Liability (LPL) Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite business outside of the online quoting platform and expand its appetite
• Analyze insurance applications to assess risk and make informed underwriting decisions
• Manage an assigned portfolio of insurance policies and recommend optimization improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, risk management, or related field
• 4+ years of management liability underwriting experience
• Knowledge of state and federal insurance regulations
• Strong understanding of policy language and risk criteria for designated lines of business
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPCU, AU) are a plus
