A company is looking for a Phone Counselor in a remote capacity to provide patient assistance and crisis services.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer calls from patients seeking assistance and refer them to appropriate resources
- Respond to crisis calls professionally and use stabilization techniques for referrals
- Coordinate with hospital intake staff to set appointments while maintaining confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in case management, crisis intervention, and call centers preferred
- Flexibility to work varying hours and overtime as needed
- Proficiency in Windows Office programs and ability to learn specialized applications
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
