Managed Care Contracting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director Managed Care Contracting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for managed care contracting with assigned Managed Care Organizations
• Negotiate rates and language for major payor agreements and maintain collaborative/value-based managed care agreements
• Monitor and report on financial and operational performance of payor contracts, recommending actions as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA or MHA) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a contract negotiator with a large provider or 7 years with a small provider or payor with a Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a contract negotiator with a large provider or 5 years with a small provider or payor with a Master's degree
• Experience in monitoring and analyzing contract performance
• Ability to conduct market assessments and stay informed on industry trends
