Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managed Care Payer Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, review, and interpret Insurance Provider Manuals and reimbursement rates
• Consult with revenue cycle stakeholders to share information regarding reimbursement interpretation
• Generate reports and analyze data to ensure accuracy in rate calculations

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 4 years of experience in managed care, hospital revenue cycle, or healthcare insurance
• Strong knowledge of governmental payer functions and payment methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Patient Accounting and CPT/HCPC coding knowledge
