Job Summary

A company is looking for a Market Development Specialist to evaluate and coordinate market entry for renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize new market and product opportunities for the virtual power plant technology platform
• Cultivate relationships and expansion opportunities with Utilities, Retailers, and other energy buyers in North American markets
• Track market trends and develop strategies to expand the company's presence into new markets

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in wholesale electricity markets, utility demand response programs, or new market entry
• Proficient in policy analysis, market research, and data analysis
• Experience with North American, Japan, UK, and/or European electricity markets
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage time independently
