Job Summary
A company is looking for a ROI Medical Records Specialist - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Process release of information requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Perform quality checks on all work and maintain equipment in excellent operating condition
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) required
- A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a medical records department preferred
- Strong computer software experience, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to type 50 wpm and use office equipment such as fax and scanning machines
- Must have proven customer satisfaction skills and be self-motivated
