Mortgage Closing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Closing Specialist I to manage loan closing processes and ensure compliance with guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and verify information for Closing Disclosure (CD) Issuance and manage pipeline reporting
• Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the closing process to ensure a seamless experience
• Review files for compliance with State and Federal guidelines and follow up on necessary documentation

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus 1 year of business or customer service experience, or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong PC skills, including knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software
• Ability to make sound decisions based on provided information
• Versatility and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced mortgage environment
• Experience in preparing Closing Disclosures and Closing Packages
