Job Summary
A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator, Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist applicants with the submission of documentation for initial and re-credentialing applications
- Maintain an accurate physician database and perform file audits
- Facilitate the integration of new RHMs and communicate with applicants to meet credentialing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Two years of post-high school education, training, or experience; an associate degree in health administration is preferred
- One year of work experience in a healthcare environment with knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Understanding of NCQA and TJC standards, NPDB guidelines, and hospital policies
- Experience with database management and proficiency in Windows-based software
- CPCS and/or CPMSM eligibility preferred but not required
