Outreach Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outreach Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to educate members on health plan services and benefits
• Contact members regarding preventive health activities and encourage participation in health programs
• Document member interactions and assist with enrollment in the NJ FamilyCare program

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Three to five years of customer service or telephone sales experience, preferably in Managed Care
• Knowledge of health insurance and Medicaid programs
• Familiarity with personal computers and related software
• Presentation and public speaking experience preferred
