NJ Medicaid Referral Development Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Development Manager for NJ Medicaid (Home Care).

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain referral pipelines from MCOs, hospitals, rehab centers, and provider networks
• Leverage existing professional contacts within NJ MCOs to generate qualified client referrals
• Serve as the key liaison between the home care agency and MCO care teams to ensure a smooth referral and onboarding process

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working within or alongside NJ MCOs in a relevant role
• Strong, active referral relationships with discharge planners, transition-of-care specialists, and case managers across NJ
• In-depth knowledge of NJ Medicaid programs, waiver services, and MLTSS
• Proven ability to drive business development or referral growth in healthcare settings
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, social work, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
