North Carolina Licensed IT Risk Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Risk Officer to provide cybersecurity risk management and oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of risk identification and monitoring processes, ensuring compliance and effectiveness
• Produce reports based on risk assessments and data analysis to identify potential risk exposure and areas for improvement
• Support cybersecurity processes through operational tasks and provide guidance to management on risk policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in cyber risk management or High School Diploma with 8 years of experience in risk management
• Experience in identifying and managing information security risks in collaboration with stakeholders
• Experience with risk and control activities in accordance with Enterprise Risk Management Program and regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with NIST frameworks and experience in applying standards to improve cybersecurity controls
• Strong background in managing cybersecurity risks within the financial services industry and understanding of relevant regulations
