Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist I - ED.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring a pleasant experience
• Gather and verify patient demographics, insurance information, and obtain necessary consents
• Assist with financial arrangements and collections, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare or a corporate work setting
• Computer/data entry experience required; Epic experience preferred
• Knowledge of patient registration systems and intermediate Microsoft Office Suite preferred
• All required certifications must be obtained upon hire
