Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Appointment Scheduler - Remote following training - PRN.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming referrals and schedule appointments for a clinical department using multiple systems
- Engage patients in the scheduling process, entering relevant demographic and medical information into the electronic health record
- Coordinate with the clinic care team and maintain acceptable call metrics while responding to multi-channel communications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three years of customer service experience in a multi-tasking environment, preferably in a call center
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and manage difficult situations
- Strong keyboarding and computer skills
- Experience in a healthcare-related field is preferred
