A company is looking for a Patient Customer Service Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities
  • Place and receive phone calls to/from patients to gather payments for medical expenses while negotiating repayment terms
  • Collect and document patient demographic and insurance information using internal technology platforms
  • Educate patients on the healthcare revenue cycle and available repayment programs to improve financial well-being
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a customer service capacity preferred
  • 1+ year(s) of experience contributing to a team culture of learning and growth preferred
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a call center environment preferred
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in medical/insurance coding and billing preferred
