A company is looking for a Pre-Registration Specialist to perform registration and basic insurance verification in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform registration and basic insurance verification, ensuring accurate patient identification and billing
- Identify and update patient demographic information in the patient accounting system
- Educate patients on insurance coverage and financial responsibilities while providing excellent customer service
Required Qualifications
- Two years of experience in a professional, customer service-driven environment preferred
- Experience in a telephone/call center environment
- Preferred experience in pre-registration and/or scheduling
- Ability to work in a production-driven call-center environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and fast, accurate typing skills
