Pre-Registration Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre Registration Specialist who will work with patients to confirm relevant information prior to service.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm and collect patient information and liabilities before services are rendered
• Ensure accurate registration data, demographic information, and insurance coverage
• Communicate patient liability estimates and expectations while attempting collections

Required Qualifications

• One (1) year of post high school business or college course work preferred
• National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role preferred
• Medical Terminology proficiency by exam required
• One (1) year experience in admitting, billing, or registration in a healthcare setting or relevant educational background
