Pre-Registration Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre Registration Specialist who will work with patients to confirm relevant information prior to service.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm and collect patient information and liabilities prior to services
• Ensure accurate registration data, demographic information, and insurance coverage
• Communicate patient liability estimates and attempt collections to meet productivity and quality standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• One (1) year of post high school business or college course work preferred
• National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role preferred
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology by exam and either one (1) year of healthcare admitting, billing, or registration experience or a relevant health vocational program
• AA Degree with six months of healthcare experience is acceptable
