Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist, Insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process appeals, corrected claims, and research aged accounts for timely collections
• Interact with patients, clinicians, and insurers to ensure account resolution
• Participate in quality assurance and comply with CLIA and HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in medical billing, health insurance, or collections preferred
• Working knowledge of ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Ability to perform light physical work, lifting up to 20 pounds frequently
• Experience in a remote work environment is preferred
