Release Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Release Engineer I to manage the integrity of the production environment and oversee the release cycle of code changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of all code changes through development, testing, and production environments
• Guide developers on branching strategies and collaborate with Agile teams to ensure compliance with standards
• Develop and execute deployment plans while maintaining a release repository and communicating release details

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle
• Ability to coordinate schedules and manage deadlines
• Willingness to teach and coach others
