Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 3rd Shift Help Desk Specialist to join our team at Jones Day, a global law firm with 40 offices in major centers of business and finance. As a Help Desk Specialist, you will provide exceptional technical support and problem resolution to our lawyers and staff, ensuring seamless operations and delivering superior client service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide timely, responsive, and accurate support and problem resolution to the Firm’s lawyers and staff via phone, email, and voicemail
• Troubleshoot end-user incidents, fulfill service requests, and provide proper escalation and follow-up on all issues
• Document problem-solving measures on various applications and provide training to users as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall IT operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Previous experience as a Help Desk Specialist or in an IT-related support role, preferably in a legal environment
• Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Windows 7/10
• Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
