Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Accountant who will oversee reconciliations, reporting, and analysis of employee benefit programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations of benefit-related accounts, including healthcare and retirement plans
- Collaborate with the People Team to ensure accurate recording of benefit costs and resolve discrepancies
- Analyze benefit expenses and trends to provide insights and reporting to finance and HR leadership
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in payroll tax or benefits accounting
- Proficient in Excel and capable of handling large data sets
- Strong understanding of GAAP and benefits-related financial reporting
- Experience with research and analysis of financial data
- Workday experience is a plus, but not required
