Billing Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Analyst - Healthcare - Physician Claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specific billing processes, account analysis, and follow-up
• Resolve payer rejections and denials while collaborating with internal departments and external payers
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and maintain management informed of payment patterns

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of Diploma / GED
• 1-3+ years of experience in business, operations, customer service, or healthcare fields
• Extensive knowledge of billing and accounts receivable follow-up
• Proficiency in billing and clearinghouse software, such as Waystar and NextGen
• Familiarity with payer rules and regulations
