Budget Execution Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Budget Execution Team Lead to support NOAA in a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide budget execution support to NOS Headquarters and assist in creating and maintaining financial reporting tools
• Analyze NOAA budget execution data, forecast potential issues, and provide recommendations for financial management activities
• Lead a team of Budget Analysts, planning major budget execution activities and reviewing deliverables for accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in federal budgeting or related fields; a Master's Degree may substitute for 2 years of experience, and a PhD for 4 years
• Proficiency in transforming data into user-friendly Google Sheet workbooks using advanced functions
• Experience leading a team, driving efficiencies, and providing constructive feedback
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to manage expectations effectively
• Ability to sift through large amounts of data to find timely answers to management's questions
