Counterparty Risk Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counterparty Risk Analyst (Operational).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence and underwriting of clients and counterparties, primarily in the solar and electrical sectors
• Recommend internal disbursement schedules and risk-based limits, and prepare written analyses to substantiate assessments
• Conduct continuous monitoring of trading counterparties and evaluate partner operational performance KPIs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of solar installation operations experience in risk management
• 1-3 years of hands-on counterparty risk management experience
• Experience with the solar industry at the finance level, including understanding contractors' cash flow
• Interest and understanding of contractor risk and complementary business verticals
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and Excel skills; experience with SFDC and data visualization tools is preferred
