Data Engineer Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consultant, Data Engineer (CMDB Engineer).

Key Responsibilities:

• Consults on complex data product projects and leads the design, development, and implementation of data products
• Produces data models and flows for various client demands including reporting and data science exploration
• Implements production processes to monitor data quality and develops scalable data pipelines for both streaming and batch requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in a large-scale mixed-platform organization focusing on technology and data analytics
• Solid understanding of ITIL concepts and processes, with advanced ITIL certifications preferred
• In-depth knowledge of IT Service Management, particularly CMDB, ITOM Visibility, and Service Mapping
• Experience with data quality rules, data management standards, and software development on large projects
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field preferred; graduate studies are a plus
