Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant, Supportive and Palliative Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients both virtually and on-site, preparing them for visits
• Perform medical tasks such as point of care testing, injections, and EKGs, and assist clinicians with examinations
• Manage administrative duties including scheduling, handling patient callbacks, and ensuring EMR is up-to-date

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification
• Ability to handle a large administrative component of patient care
• Passion for supporting medically complex patients with life-limiting diagnoses
• Experience with patient care coordination and support
