DOT Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DOT Driver Compliance Specialist to join their compliance team, focusing on maintaining safety and regulatory compliance for drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track driver qualification renewals, including CDL licenses and medical cards
• Process employment applications and DOT-required documentation for onboarding new drivers
• Set up and maintain Driver Qualification Files (DQFs), ensuring they are complete and audit ready

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, human resources, or a related field preferred, or relevant work experience
• 2-4 years of experience in DOT compliance, fleet compliance, or HR compliance
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations regarding driver qualification files and MVRs
• Experience with a DQF 3rd party provider for managing driver qualification files
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance tracking systems is a plus
